WE TEACH YOUR CHILDREN SKILLS FOR LIFE

After teaching students Maths, English, and Science, how do we educate them about the world that awaits them beyond the school gates?

Teaching these core subjects is a strength that schools have mastered, but delivering those all-important life lessons – like understanding mortgages and the role of consent in relationships – isn’t as simple. It’s a problem that goes back generations. But don’t worry – we reckon we’ve cracked it.

It’s time to have The Talk.

WHAT WE TEACH

The Talk is a PSHE video learning platform that allows teachers to stream lessons on subjects relevant to today’s students and the challenges they’re likely to face. Covering everything from mortgages to online gaming – we are here to help guide students through the tricky stuff, working with you to give your child the best chance to succeed as a young adult.

Our lessons span three core areas – Health & Wellbeing, Relationships, and the Wider World. These modules cover a broad range of subjects, giving students a great overview of how the world works and what to do about it.

HOW WE TEACH IT

Our video lessons are sleek and professional, but they also incorporate an important element for engaging with school-age learners – fun. That’s not to say we take our responsibilities lightly. Some of these subjects are highly sensitive, and are engaged with appropriately.

All of our videos are presented by a diverse and professional presenting duo, utilising both live action and animated elements. This helps us to deliver sometimes difficult, always important information in a way that genuinely engages young minds.

We don’t want anyone to miss out, so we have made all of our resources accessible to students of all needs and abilities. This includes the use of subtitles, flexible pause points, and lesson plans that are easy to adapt to whichever way individual students learn best.
